Leading Gastric Band Hypnotherapy expert Claire Hegarty has launched a weight loss campaign to offer free advice on losing weight after becoming worried with recent research that has suggested people who are overweight are double likely to die from obesity health problems.
According to health experts the seriousness of obesity has been underestimated after the latest research has suggested that obesity will more than double the death risk for someone who is overweight.
The latest research has said that a quarter of UK adults are overweight with one in 10 children under the age of 11 are obese these are worrying figures. The government has said that if nothing is done about obesity then with the current rate of growth three quarters of the population in the UK could suffer from obesity health problems with 10 to 15 years. But Dr Asnawi Abdullah, from Monash University in Australia has said the obesity problem is much serious than we first thought it was.
