Brian Blessed joins controversy over Ripper T-shirt
Controversy continues to rage over a tasteless novelty T-shirt bearing a cartoon of the Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe after another famous face was dragged into the row.
The T-shirt stirred up such rage among the public and families of the Ripper’s victims when the Telegraph & Argus first broke the story that its makers were forced to withdraw it from sale and redesign it.
Instead of Sutcliffe, they have now replaced him with Yorkshire actor Brian Blessed.
